Office Ideas for the WFH Mom

I have been working 100% remote for almost a year and I have to say that it comes with challenges. I am a mom of two toddlers (a 5-year-old and a 2-year-old) and I know that these products have made it easier for me when i work from home.

Bear with me ---- most of the items I purchase are pink.

1. Lap Desk

I literally am not able to sit in one area throughout my 8-hour shift. My youngest is constantly pulling me in different directions and running around the house. This is my favorite office item because I am able to walk around with my laptop, my cell phone and my mouse.

It is also helpful when I want to make my way into the kitchen to get a snack, lounge on the couch or when I lay my girls to sleep. I really like the microbead cushion underneath and how my lap continues to stay cool.

2. Adjustable Laptop Stand

Oh no! Pink is not in stock for this particular item but I found this item very useful. I have my laptop and two additional monitors for my display. Because my laptop is in use for my entire shift this keeps my laptop cool and displayed ergonomically.

3. Ancheer 2-in-1 Treadmill

I can't always make my way out for a walk in the neighborhood. This treadmill by Ancheer gives me the flexibility to go in for a quick walk. Most times I am able to get some cardio in right before I clock in. I don't really use it while working because I have to be one the phone but I feel better getting a walk in during the day.

I would have to say that as far as noise there is a lot beeping. This isn't as loud as I thought it would be when the belt is in motion.

4. Ergonomic Office Chair

This is a cost effective chair that does the job. I got what I paid for and I liked the light grey color that did not contrast against my office space. As a WFH mom I say it is fun for the kids when they're bored. I am constantly moving around the house when working so I like to say that I keep this more for looks.

5. Cordless Vacuum Cleaner

My children (especially my youngest) will snack in the living room and in the hallway. I have to admit I'm not always 100% watching my toddlers while I work.

Let's be realistic because I have to pay attention to what I am working on to get it done correctly. This vacuum cleaner has helped me clean up when I needed to before, during and after I do my job.

I'm glad I do not have to constantly wind and unwind the cord anymore!
